Beginner resistance Yellow - 13 and under competitive swimmers and female recreational swimmers. (Swimmers that can do an average of 1min 30sec per 100m in the swimming pool or higher) If you are not sure of what time you do, you will be a Yellow, light strength cord.
Intermediate Resistance Green- 14 - 17ys youth and most adults, Swimmers who can swim 1min 15sec per 100m to 1min 30 sec per 100m for 600 + metres
Advanced Blue Resistance Red - 18 and over and strong men. Swimmers that can swim consistently under 1min 15sec per 100m for 600+ metres
